1 cup all-purpose flour

1 ½ tsp baking powder

1 large egg

⅓ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp melted butter

1 cup finely chopped fresh peaches

Oil for frying
Optional Glaze:

½ cup powdered sugar

1–2 tbsp milk

½ tsp vanilla
Instructions

Heat oil: In a deep pan, heat about 2 inches of oil to 350°F (175°C).

Make the batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Add wet ingredients: Stir in the egg, milk, vanilla, and melted butter until combined.

Fold in peaches: Gently fold in the chopped peaches until evenly distributed.

Fry: Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil, a few at a time. Fry until golden brown on both sides (about 2–3 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.

Glaze (optional): Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make a simple glaze. Drizzle over fritters while warm.
