Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 cups cooked white or brown rice
Instructions

Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and sprinkle with parsley.

Serve hot over a bed of cooked rice.
