Honey Butter Garlic Chicken: Sweet & Savory Recipe for a Delicious Meal

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (for coating)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with flour, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  • Cook the Chicken:

    • Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

    • Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.

    • Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.

  • Make the Sauce:

    • In the same pan, melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter.

    • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Stir in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.

    • Let the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.

 

  • Combine & Serve:

    • Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.

    • Cook for another minute until everything is well coated.

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and sesame seeds.
