-
1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/4 cup honey
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
-
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Cook Shrimp:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
Sauté Garlic:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add Sauce:
Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
Combine:
Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for another minute to heat through.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice or noodles.
