Ingredients
4 cod fillets
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried oregano (or thyme)
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
Arrange the cod fillets in the baking dish. Pour the lemon butter sauce evenly over them.
Add lemon slices on top of each fillet for extra flavor.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides like rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad.
