Lemon Herb Baked Salmon: A Healthy, Flavorful Recipe for Any Occasion

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)

  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (chopped)

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)


Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

  • Prepare the Marinade:
    In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, dill, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  • Coat the Salmon:
    Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon the lemon herb marinade evenly over each fillet, making sure the salmon is well-coated.

  • Bake the Salmon:
    Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork and is cooked through.

 

  • Serve:
    Garnish with fresh lemon wedges and extra chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot.
