  • – 1 (26 oz) bag frozen seasoned French fries (or homemade fries)

  • – 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • – 1/2 pound ground beef

  • – 1 tablespoon taco seasoning

  • – 1/4 cup water

  • – 1 cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • – 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • – 1/4 cup diced tomatoes

  • – 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)

  • – 1/4 cup chopped green onions

  • – 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

  • – Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  • Bake the Fries:
Cook fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden brown. Set aside on a baking sheet.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer fries on an oven-safe platter or skillet. Top with taco beef and shredded cheddar cheese.

  • Bake to Melt:
Bake for 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Add Toppings:
Drizzle with warm nacho cheese sauce. Sprinkle with tomatoes, jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro. Add dollops of sour cream if desired.

  • Serve Immediately:
Enjoy while hot and melty – perfect for sharing (or not)! 😋
