Ingredients
For the Pasta:
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1 small onion (diced)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp yellow mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
2 cups beef broth
1 cup milk
8 oz elbow macaroni or small pasta
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Beef:
Heat a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned (5-6 minutes), breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened (2-3 minutes).
Build the Flavor:
3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Cook the Pasta:
4. Pour in beef broth and milk, then bring to a boil.
5. Stir in the pasta, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
Make it Cheesy:
6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese and heavy cream (if using). Mix until melted and creamy.
Serve:
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
