  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (divided)

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup beef broth

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 8 oz penne or fettuccine pasta (cooked al dente)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  • Season the Steak:
Toss sliced steak with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

  • Sear the Steak:
Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak slices and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.
    Remove steak and set aside.

  • Sauté Veggies:
In the same skillet, add garlic, onion, and red bell pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.

  • Make the Sauce:
Reduce heat to medium. Add heavy cream, beef broth, Parmesan cheese, and remaining 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning. Stir and simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.

  • Combine:
Add cooked pasta and seared steak back into the skillet. Toss everything together until coated in sauce. Adjust seasoning if needed.

  • Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot!
