  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 sleeve (about 30) Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

 

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the Casserole Filling:

    • In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
    • Stir in the cooked chicken and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Assemble the Casserole:

    • Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
    • In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter.
    • Sprinkle the buttery cracker topping evenly over the casserole.
  4. Bake & Serve:

    • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
    • Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
