Roasted Asparagus with Balsamic: A Healthy & Flavorful Side Dish Recipe

1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
Optional: shaved Parmesan or lemon zest for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Place asparagus on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  • Roast for 12–15 minutes, or until tender and slightly crispy on the edges.

  • Remove from oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar while hot.

 

  • Garnish with shaved Parmesan or lemon zest if desired. Serve immediately.
