1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
Optional: shaved Parmesan or lemon zest for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place asparagus on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Roast for 12–15 minutes, or until tender and slightly crispy on the edges.

Remove from oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar while hot.

Garnish with shaved Parmesan or lemon zest if desired. Serve immediately.
