Ingredients

1 1/2 cups orzo pasta

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup heavy cream (optional for creamier texture)

Salt & pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Stir in orzo and cook for 2–3 minutes until lightly toasted.

Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan cheese (and heavy cream if using).

Season with salt & pepper to taste.

Garnish with fresh parsley.
