Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken Delight Recipe: A Sweet & Savory Comfort Dish

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons water (if using cornstarch)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

 

  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, ginger, vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Pour over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  • (Optional) For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Stir into the slow cooker 20 minutes before serving.
  • Shred the chicken or serve whole over rice, noodles, or veggies.

 

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
