Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp fish sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 12 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 chili, chopped (optional for heat)

  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves

  • Butter lettuce leaves or rice paper

  • Cooked rice or rice noodles (optional, for filling)


Instructions

  • In a skillet, cook garlic and chili in a little oil until fragrant.

  • Add ground beef. Cook until browned.

  • Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Simmer 2–3 mins.

  • Add basil and stir until wilted.

  • Spoon beef onto lettuce leaves or softened rice paper. Add rice/noodles if using.

 

  • Roll up and serve with your favorite dipping sauce!
