Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, ranch seasoning, sausage, and salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, stir the mixture, and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Finishing and Serving
- Bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and stir in sour cream and green onions before serving.
Notes
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F or microwave until warmed through.
