Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 8 oz tube crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream cheese, green onions, and garlic powder. Mix until well blended.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a floured surface and separate it into individual triangles.
  • Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, pinching the edges to seal.
  • Place the filled pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and brush it over the tops of the chicken pillows.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While the chicken pillows are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce by combining melted butter, heavy cream, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese in a saucepan.
  • Cook the sauce over medium heat, stirring until thickened, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Once the chicken pillows are finished baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Serve the chicken pillows drizzled with garlic Parmesan sauce.
