Ingredients

  • 1 pound Polish sausage
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 pound sauerkraut drained
  • 3 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients by chopping and cubing as needed.
  • Layer the sauerkraut at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Add the chopped onion and cubed potatoes on top of the sauerkraut.
  • Place the Polish sausage on top of the vegetables.
  • Sprinkle caraway seeds, salt, and pepper over the top.
  • Pour the chicken broth into the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once done, taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
