- 1 pound Polish sausage
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 pound sauerkraut drained
- 3 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the ingredients by chopping and cubing as needed.
Layer the sauerkraut at the bottom of the crockpot.
Add the chopped onion and cubed potatoes on top of the sauerkraut.
Place the Polish sausage on top of the vegetables.
Sprinkle caraway seeds, salt, and pepper over the top.
Pour the chicken broth into the crockpot.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Once done, taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
