Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, along with sliced chicken.
Adjust seasonings with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
Serve immediately, garnished with parsley.
