Crispy Dumplings with Garlic Sauce Delight

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup finely chopped vegetables like cabbage, carrots, or mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup ground meat pork, chicken, or tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce for garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar rice or white
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (for the sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional

Method
 

  1. Combine flour, salt, and water in a bowl.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing chopped vegetables, ground meat, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle.
  6. Fold and seal the dumplings by pleating the edges.
  7. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the dumplings until golden brown.
  8. Once browned, add a little water to the pan and cover to steam.
  9. Prepare the garlic sauce by combining soy sauce, vinegar, minced garlic, sugar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  10. Serve the dumplings hot with garlic sauce on the side.
