Prep the ingredients: Mince garlic, peel and devein shrimp, and chop broccoli.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add minced garlic to the oil and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the wok and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until they turn pink.
Once the shrimp are cooked, add the broccoli and stir-fry for an additional 2–3 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch together until smooth.
Pour the sauce mixture over the shrimp and broccoli, stirring well.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjust flavors as needed, and serve immediately.
