Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp flour for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  • Cut the puff pastry into squares (about 4x4 inches).
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  • Top each spoonful with diced strawberries.
  • Fold the corners of the pastry squares toward the center and pinch to seal.
  • Brush the tops of the pastries with beaten egg.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
