Irresistible Veggie Grilled Cheese Creation
This Veggie Grilled Cheese Sandwich combines melty cheeses with a medley of fresh vegetables, creating a crunchy, flavor-packed delight for any occasion.
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach
- 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers mixed colors
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the vegetables for the sandwich.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Sauté the sliced onion and bell peppers until soft.
Add the spinach to the skillet and stir until wilted.
Assemble the sandwich.
Heat the skillet again and add the assembled sandwich.
Cook for 3-4 minutes, then flip carefully.
Cook the other side until golden and cheese is melted.
Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing.
