  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently to combine without overmixing.
  5. Fold in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed in the dough.
  6. Spoon the batter into a greased loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
