Savor the Flavors of Classic Chicken Marsala

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup sliced cremini or button mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup Marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the chicken breasts.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet.
  3. Sear the chicken.
  4. Remove chicken and add mushrooms.
  5. Deglaze the pan with Marsala wine.
  6. Add chicken broth.
  7. Finish the sauce with butter.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet.
  9. Garnish and serve.
