Crab Rangoon Bombs made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 green onions finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 package of wonton wrappers about 40 wrappers
  • Oil for frying about 2 cups
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface.
  • Place a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  • Moisten the edges of the wrappers with water and fold them over to form a triangle, pressing to seal well.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Carefully place the sealed wontons in the hot oil, a few at a time.
  • Remove the fried Crab Rangoon Bombs and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  • Serve warm with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping.
