Savory Ham and Swiss Stromboli for Family Gatherings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 8 oz sliced ham
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1 cup spinach roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Flour for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  4. Layer the ham, cheese, and spinach over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning on top.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log.
  7. Seal the edges and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  9. Make slits in the top for steam to escape.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
